The Hive
‘The Hive’ is a separate building on the Meadow Lane schools campus and was originally the school caretaker’s house. The school received a grant from North West Leicestershire council in order to renovate the building.
The building has now been renovated into a community centre for current students, parents and the surrounding communities.
The Castle Rock School have been in talks with many agencies; the local police, Go Learn providers, Voluntary Action Leicestershire and the local IMPACT team who are going to be leading courses/workshops for the local community at ‘The Hive’, which you can see listed below.
The building is also used by our Care and Guidance Team and our Mental Health Lead Practitioner as a meeting place to chat with parents and outside agencies, by our students for masterclasses, outdoor learning and extra curricular activities and by our staff as a CPD hub.
If you would like to suggest any courses or activities that you would like to see running at ‘The Hive’ please contact the school office on i[email protected] or contact the school on 01530 834368.
‘The Hive’ is situated next to Forest Way School. Please use the Forest Way School entrance off Warren Hills Road. Parking is available outside of the building.
