Nathan Dale

Nathan Dale’s journey from Castle Rock Sixth Form to a career in media and business shows how the independence and opportunities he found during his time there helped him succeed. Studying Media Studies, Performing Arts, and Technical Theatre Arts, Nathan built a foundation of skills and confidence that set him on the path to success.

Today, Nathan works in the Business Development team at Reach plc, the UK’s largest commercial news publisher, collaborating with major brands on innovative advertising campaigns. One of his career highlights includes contributing to the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, where he played a key role in managing live audience interactions and even appeared on TV as a seat filler.

"There was a definite sense of freedom that came with being a sixth former, and I believe this set me up to be self-sufficient and to take my studies more seriously," Nathan reflects.

Encouraged by supportive teachers, Nathan became the first in his family to attend university, studying Acting and Theatre-making at the London College of Music. While his career has since evolved, the creativity and confidence he gained at Sixth Form continue to shape his professional life.

From managing a flagship hospitality site to thriving in his current role, Nathan’s story is one of growth and resilience. His Media Studies background remains a key asset, giving him the skills to navigate the media industry with confidence.

Nathan’s achievements show how Castle Rock Sixth Form helps students prepare for their future, wherever their journey may lead.
